TERMS & CONDITIONS
DCBN Membership Terms and Conditions
These terms explain how membership of the Domestic Cleaning Business Network works.
Please read them before joining. By joining DCBN, you agree to these terms.
- Who we are
DCBN means The Domestic Cleaning Business Network Limited, company number 13813105.
When we say “we”, “us” or “our”, we mean DCBN.
When we say “you”, “your” or “member”, we mean the person, business, company or organisation joining DCBN.
- Business-to-business membership
DCBN is a business-to-business membership for businesses and sole traders operating cleaning businesses.
By joining, you confirm that you are joining for business purposes and not as a consumer.
Because this is a business-to-business agreement, there is no automatic 14-day cooling-off period. Once you join and payment has been made or becomes due, your membership agreement starts straight away.
We may choose to offer a refund or cancellation at our discretion, but we are not required to do so unless these terms say otherwise.
- Membership options
DCBN currently offers the following membership options:
- Monthly membership
- Annual membership
Monthly membership is a 12-month subscription paid in monthly instalments.
Annual membership is a 12-month subscription paid in full in advance.
Both options are for a minimum 12-month membership term.
- Monthly membership
If you choose monthly membership, you are committing to a full 12-month membership.
Your payments are split into monthly instalments for convenience, but this does not make it a rolling monthly contract.
If you cancel your payment method, stop paying, or ask to leave before the end of the 12-month term, the remaining balance for the full 12-month membership will still be due.
We reserve the right to invoice you for any unpaid balance.
- Annual membership
If you choose annual membership, the full annual membership fee is due in advance.
Annual membership runs for 12 months from the date your membership starts, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Annual membership fees are non-refundable once your membership has started, unless we agree otherwise.
- Renewals
Your membership will renew automatically at the end of each 12-month term unless you give us notice to cancel.
You must give us at least one month’s written notice before your renewal date if you do not want your membership to renew.
Notice must be sent by email to info@dcbn.org.uk.
Your cancellation is only confirmed once we have acknowledged it in writing.
If we do not receive at least one month’s written notice before your renewal date, your membership will renew for another 12-month term and the full membership fee will be due.
- Cancelling during your membership term
You can ask to cancel your membership at any time by emailing info@dcbn.org.uk.
However, cancelling during your 12-month membership term does not remove your responsibility to pay the full amount due for that 12-month term.
No pro-rata refunds will be given for unused time, unused benefits, missed live sessions, or failure to access the membership resources.
Any refund or early cancellation will be entirely at the discretion of DCBN.
- Payment
Payment can be made by debit card or credit card through our website.
In exceptional circumstances, we may agree to accept an annual payment by bank transfer.
Payment is due immediately when you join, unless we have agreed different payment terms with you in writing.
If payment is made by monthly instalments, you are responsible for making sure your payment method remains active and that payments can be collected when due.
- Failed or late payments
If a payment fails or is not received when due, we may suspend your membership and remove access to member benefits until payment is made.
This may include access to:
- the members’ area
- the training library
- downloadable documents and templates
- member discounts
- live sessions
- mentoring calls
- the members’ Facebook group
- any other member-only resources
If payment remains unpaid, we may cancel your access and invoice you for the remaining balance of your 12-month membership.
We may also charge interest and reasonable costs for recovering unpaid amounts, including debt collection or legal fees where applicable.
- Membership requirements
DCBN membership is for businesses and sole traders who are, or are working towards, operating legally and professionally in the domestic cleaning industry.

We may update our membership requirements from time to time. Where we make a significant change, we will give members at least 28 days’ notice.

You must also remove any wording from your website, social media, marketing materials or other platforms that suggests you are still a current DCBN member.
