Free resources members don’t have all the same benefits as full members and you can’t use our logo for marketing or have access to our private members only facebook group or Directors Diagnostic call. however we know you will fully benefit from the resources we provide and the support in the main facebook group here to help you work on your business and spend time planning how your business will grow.

We have provided free access to some of our most popular documents that have been requested over recent months:

THE WORLD DAY

The World Day for Safety & Health at Work 28th April 2021

All the way through the pandemic, the DCBN have been working hard to support the cleaning industry and also raise the standards of Health and Safety throughout the industry.

We helped to train 100’s of business owners on free courses to help them return back to work safely and plan as well as providing valuable insights into PPE, training, products and safe working practices. We trained businesses in how to write risk assessments and understand COSHH and also provided free resources for anyone to download.

From the start of the pandemic we have worked hard to keep our members and the industry informed of changes to rules and legislation and also produced the industry standard guidelines as to how to clean safely around Covid-19 -protecting your staff, your customers and ultimately your business.

We know that managing health and safety policies and risk assessments is important but can also be daunting. That is why we have partnered with BrightHR to provide a complete service to our full members with a phenomenal DCBN exclusive discount.

We have also partnered with leading suppliers to ensure that our subscription members get access to discounted products, PPE and equipment to help them stay safe at all times.

Today, we are excited to provide free access to BrightHR’s guide to Reopening your Business Safely. You can use it in your business and with any customers to demonstrate how you are working safely, templates you can use to recall staff back from furlough, as well as clear and concise signage you can use in your business as well.

Remember, only DCBN full members can get the exclusive discount deals so email info@dcbn.org.uk if you want to upgrade your membership.

The DCBN have put together a template notice that you can send to all of your customers to reassure them of the steps you are taking to keep both your company and them safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The notice explains all the actions you are taking and also provides a link to the Government Guidance stating that we are still able to work during these times.

At the start of the Pandemic, the Domestic Cleaning Business Network produced a guide to cleaning and operating safely when cleaning peoples houses.

This document was downloaded nearly 5,000 times and was picked up by the National Press as well.

Lots of things have changed since March so we are excited that we have updated our guide so you can continue to work safely.

As part of the free training we have offered our free resource members, we ask you to complete COSHH. Please use the DCBN Template to complete this.

As part of the free training we have offered our free resource members, we ask you to complete a risk assessment. To make life easier, we have added some of the most common risks and how to mitigate them so that you can easily complete the rest.
