The DCBN are on a mission to ensure that those in the domestic cleaning industry are Trained, Insured and Safe and part of that mission is to provide training on the safe use of chemicals, including understanding product labels, COSHH, Risk Assessments, Safety Data Sheets, PPE and that chemicals should always be used according to manufacturers instructions and not mixed.

This article on BBC news highlights how dangerous mixing chemicals can be and that the chlorine gas created can and does cause serious harm and even death.

With our Health and Safety for Cleaning Business Owners workshop and our Cleaning Safely Workshops, the DCBN is doing its bit to improve safety in the cleaning industry.
